I almost chickened out before mine were done.
It doesn't hurt much promise. Just a few seconds and you're done. Kind of like a shot.
If you really want them pierced, close your eyes when it's being done, and bring a best friend along who wouldn't mind if you broke their hand
Also, if ears are scaring you, don't do your bellybutton.
It freaked me out the two times I had to go for someone else. And if they had been anyone else, I would never have gone.
