So did I. I'm still sort of regretting it. He was older, and way more expireneced. We were dating. Then someone found out and told my parents I was dating this 21 year old. We had to stay away from each other for a while, and I allowed him to have friends with benifits. He got some girl pregnate and now we can't even talk. I miss him every day. But I don't love him. He says he misses me too, the last time I talked to him. He wants to be with me but I'm not going to let him abandon that girl and his child because of my selfish pleasure. I'm sorry, Jeremy, if you read this.

I lost mine at 14 too and I loved the guy but he only used me.
I hate guys, I'm sorry.
WoundedGlory Featured By Owner Nov 15, 2008
I was 18.

We've been married 4 years. (:
tasteslikehappy Featured By Owner Nov 14, 2008
I was 15, spring break, partying with a bunch of 20-something year olds I barely knew...I was so drunk I didn't even remember it happening, only knew that it did because something felt different inside...he never spoke to me again...
it saddens me to know there are people like that who take advantage of young girls messed up like that

You're not alone, I too was 14 and I did it because he wanted to.

I waited 'til I found the right person..I was sixteen, and now we're engaged.

This is one of the most artistic secrets I've seen in a while :)
stacey-woo-x Featured By Owner Sep 28, 2008  Hobbyist Photographer
yep it is one of the prettiest secrets in a while.

i was about a month off 17, it was february this year, and we're still going strong, so hopefully i waited for the right person, it feels right at the moment :)
chariots-of-light Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2008
Which is why I'm waiting until marriage. Very pretty though.
AKAcorn Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008  Hobbyist Writer
I'm twenty and still a virgin. But, it isn't because I treasure it or anything. I just haven't found anyone to share my first time with. ^^;
Mitsou Featured By Owner Nov 30, 2008
I'm 19 and people are surprised when they find out I'm still a virgin. What is the world coming to?

I'll end up waiting until marriage :\

oh I hope that doesn't make you feel bad or something. I did it for the first time, pretty late too, and didn't regret that I waited for so long. Now I wish I can take back some of the stupid stuff I have done, so the older you are the less 'mistakes' you have.
AKAcorn Featured By Owner Oct 1, 2008  Hobbyist Writer
No, it doesn't make me feel bad at all, actually. I'm actually quite happy that I haven't "given in." To be honest, out of the 250 kids that graduated with me, only 7% or less was still a virgin. And out of the 93%, about 15% were now parents..

I have to admit it's kinda scary hearing all these secrets about people losing their virginity at age 14... Especially when I'm 14 myself. Ah well, each to their own.

When you really think about it, virginity means a lot of different things to different people, for some it's just the breaking of the hymen and that's it. For others it's supposed to be some kind of rite with your beloved. Either whichway. Whatever makes you happy.

:[ aww
I lost mine at 18 just to lose it. I didnt think it was a big deal. But now I'm with someone I love and care deeply about...and now i regret it so much.
tassel Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
Honestly.. I thought my virginity was so important. I valued it. I respected it. I did want to lose it, and I loved someone so much that I was saving myself for him.

But then we started fighting and he broke my heart. Over and over again. Even after the relationship ended, he still wound up hurting me.

So I didn't value it anymore. And I lost my virginity, to a friend, but mostly... I wanted to be rid of it. I was sick of having it. It was a label I didn't want.

I'm glad it's gone, because I really believe that people place too much emphasis on it.
GuideShadow Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
I'm too scared to lose my virginity now, at 15. Part of it is that I'm too young to handle the pettiness, STDs, or pregnancy but a large part of it I don't love anyone now but me being the person I am, will get emotionally attached, regardless of whether or not I loev them
Atuin Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
I don't have anything to say about the message, but the artistry in this one is impressive.

Yess, it is

I was lucky enough to be too scared of the law, and managed to save myself for the one I loved.

I can't describe how difficult it was, I have a high sex-drive and the pain was agony (punch-in-the-stomach kind of pain) and I can very much understand why some people just can't wait, it's horrible. Especially seeing as women (generally) mature faster than men.

But, I'm of the firm belief that everything happens for a reason -- maybe you were meant to, maybe there was something important about it for you to need in the future?

But here's my advice -- for me, there is more than one virginity. Eg. you can lose your virginity by using tampons. Do I see that as losing my virginity? No. I see it as my heimen being broken by a tampon. You can lose your virginity to sex toys and your fingers and horseriding. Is that losing virginity? No. It's losing your virginity to something else.

You have a virginity left. That virginity is having sex with someone you love. I call that virginity until you break it with the right guy.

Hope this is some form of consolation.
cosmicspider Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
Yeah, I lost my virginity at 16 to a man much, much older than me and I did it simply because I thought no one would ever like me enough to want to have sex with me. Stupid girl I was. But ya know what? Virginity isn't as important as we seem to think, just make sure all the next times are for the right reasons. :)
CaptainRatty Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
Well now you can make sure it's for 'love' in the future.
As long as you can determine the difference between love and lust ;)
Freedom-Falling Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008  Hobbyist General Artist
I've yet to have sex, but I know that when I do, it will be for love. Not because I don't want to feel regret or anything. But only because I feel that it's only deserved for someone I love.

But we can't change the past, and eventually, you won't feel so hateful against yourself for your actions. We are all human and to er--well you know. Accept yourself and live on.
Kakitiss Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
I was 14 too, but I was lucky enough to do it for love. I wish I could say 'now you know better' but there are some things you can't take back... I hope this turns out to be a positive though, in that you think more before your actions and make better choices because of it... :) Try and see the silver lining? Also, the way you made your secret is beautiful... :)
ArdEeln Featured By Owner Sep 26, 2008
Me too.
I lost it at fifteen and it was horrible, painful and embarassing >_<
