I'm glad you chose to do this, ST. I don't know the exact situation, but just from reading that I probably know what it's like to be the other person in your situation.

Unfortunately, even though he knew I meant what I said and felt these same things, he still chose to have doubts and let his fear and pain control him.

I still care about him, but I no longer like anything about him. He's turned into an absolute monster. Depressing to know that all it would've took to stop that from happening was one word from him. :/
