I'm 18 and do that too. You should try writing your "conversations" with your them. It might help

I have the same problem. The only thing that I can do is try to find something else to focus on. If I have work to do I need to force myself to get out of my head and do it. I love my fantasies but sometimes I have to live in reality.

I started, in kindergarden cuz nobody liked me. I still do, i cant make them go away cuz im bored and lonely. I use them to do stuff for me while i take a cozy nap under a tree in the garden of the mental mansion. Fun, yeah. But scary that i havent told a therapyst

Wow. I was exactly like that, until I was in the 11th grade and finally had real friends. Now that I'm out of high school and my friends have all gone away, I'm back to doing that. :/
