I wonder if she mean it's hard to love you because you're unlovable (which I hope not, and if that is what she meant it's not true!)...

or if she didn't mean it's hard to make herself love you, but rather because she worries about you. Love is not easy, and maybe she didn't mean it in a bad way.

I don't know the context so it could have been just a horrible thing to say and I'm sorry if that is the case, but sometimes we have to put ourselves in our parents shoes and realize how hard it is to raise a happy, healthy child.

Sometimes I don't think us young 'uns realise the strain WE put on our parents.
I see my sister do it all the time.She pushes and pushes my mum, and when she snaps my sister turns it into a situation where my mum's the most evil person on the planet and is picking her to pieces for fun, when in actuality my mum is just letting her feelings out for a change.

Broaden your horizons.

And note she said it's not easy, not that she doesn't.

Yeah, my mum's a proper twat like that too. :/ She is always saying things like that. If she's not saying that, she's saying "You just love to make my life miserable, dont you?", or other things similar to that. I feel the same way. Sorry, ST.

What's so hard about love? It's supposed to be the simplest and purest thing in the world.

If you ask me, sounds like she's making a big deal out of nothing and making excuses for it. I think you should confront her about it.

if the ST is continually breaking trust or doing things the mum doesnt agree with it could be hard. I know my parents had a very hard time loving me.


not saying that ST is, since the way they say it sounds more like it's just on the mums side. but i guess we'll never know.
