Something very similar happened to me. I had the urge to kiss her late one night when she was spendin the night, so I talked to her about it the next morning. She said she'd thought the same thing. Two weeks later we kissed in the woods - the best kiss I ever had - and we went back home and spent the rest of the night curled up together, with several more of the best kisses. After she left, we were stupid and texted each other about it. That night, my mom took my phone, so i had to tell her...it wasn't horrible. My parents understood. They didn't make a huge deal of it, and they talked to her parents as well. We can't spend the night together anymore, but we still get to see each other.

My point is, just talk to her. It'll be fine, and even if she doesn't feel the same way, if she's really your friend, nothing with change between you. Be brave, and don't worry about it.
