I prefer drawing and hanging around with my friends to even think about relationships.
I'm the same - it's fine! There's nothing weird about it. ^^

Nope. This is perfectly fine. I feel this way all of the time.

I would HATE to date people. I just want to be loved by myself and my friends.

Also, writing is a massive passion. I live by writing.

So, you're not weird. You're just like every other person. :3

Even though I usually get talked into dating, I feel the same.
I would rather just had some close friends and focus on me for a bit.

I know exactly how you feel. EXACTLY.

And I say if it's working for you what you're doing now, why change it? :3

It's not particularly strange. (Well among general society's standards, yes.) Relationships are complicated, stressful, and if they go wrong, hurtful.

Writing is amazing. You can do nearly anything with it. Friends *smiles*, friends are forever. Friends won't abandon you. Friends are me anyway.

Personally I believe that I at least sort of understand what you mean. Sometimes relationships are just a mess that isn't really worth bothering with. However, you can rule out the future. Anything is possible. So there may be a possibility of you wanting to be with either sex, relationship wise, sometime in the future. But, there is also the possibility that you won't. I guess what I mean to say is that, just because you feel this way now, doesn't mean that you'll always feel this way. Nothing is permanent.

Sorry I don't mean to seem like I'm saying that you "should be in a relationship".

umm...I'm not even sure how that all came out. So ...take it as you will. I don't mean any offense.

You sound like someone who values the love of friends and family like few others in this world do, so busy deifying romantic love as if every time you have fuzzy feelings it's the deepest thing ever.

You are weird. Better weird. Platonic love is vastly underappreciated.
firedance99 Featured By Owner Oct 26, 2009
Nothing wrong with that at all :)

:w00t: You are free from all that worry so many people have!

And you know, in a way, we shouldn't "want to be in a relationship". We should fall in love with someone...and then want to be with them.

No ST, i don't blame you. The saying goes, Different Strokes for Different Folks, and it's entirely true. People prefer different things based on age, personality, etc. When i was going through high school, i had no desire to be in a relationship either. Now, I'm dating my girlfriend, and we've been together for going on 5 months now.

You do what YOU want to do. If relationships don't appeal to you, and others are pressuring you to get into one, then don't. :3 do what you want to do.
