I hate that. People idolize my friend whose drawings are horrible - HORRIBLE! I love my friend but she can't draw for shit. Everyone says hers are better. All the time. And then they look at mine (Which are blatanly better) and say, "Oh, you're good too, I guess."

And I do feel hurt, when her work is better. I always wrote,and I thought that was mine. But when she told me people LOVED her work and wanted her to write more, I was hurt, I was dissapointed in myself, because nobody asks me to write more. I guess its normal, but who knows, I might be an aweful writer.

You just have to have faith in yourself, and work to get better. As long as you enjoy it then it shouldn't matter what other people say. My old art teacher told me to drop photography because he said I would fail it. I said no, kept doing it anyway and worked really hard. Now I have an A* in photography. Don't ever let other people put you down about your work - just believe in yourself!
