"One day i'll run away, one day i'll drop that nasty habbit, one day i'll say what i really feel instead of the opposite, one ay i'll... and then you'll all see"
Ugh, no. Stop waiting for "one day". If you have a good reason - it NOW. If not - quit trying to live in a bad novel.

dont be so rude. since its red white and blue it most likely means she wants to run away to the states if not then okay. if shes not ready to run away then thats what she wants.

This was far from rude. Not sure how a French flag means she wants to run to the USA, nor how the question of where she wants to go is relevant.

well my bad i guess that the red white and blue meant america. and i believe i said "if not then okay" which meant i wasnt positive. but you were fairly rude. and i suppose you were right to the irrelevancy of where she was going. but "quit trying to live in a bad novel doesnt exactly help her situation.

Whether she wants her situation helped or not, is the first question to be answered, before anything can be done. And this secret gives a very strong impression that it isn't answered yet.

Make sure you're independent. if there's a bad situation at home, the police might like to know. But it's a statistical fact that most teen runaways get into drugs, then prostitution to fuel the drugs... so please... you know, exhaust your other options.

But France sounds really fuckin awesome. 8D

Take care about why ST. It's not always the solution, in general, it's not better... But if you really want to do it, go, good luck.
Just don't go for wrong reason.

Just bring enough money ST and all the best for you. Just drop a card to family once in a while so they know your safe (and leave a note before you leave telling them that your gone and safe.) :]

Why England? There's so many reasons.
For example the weather: I hate both of warm and cold. Rainy, chilly days would be perfect for me. And I like the English culture, architecture and everything. :)

Oh man. It's so horrible when you have rain almost every day, and then there's a lot of wind that just gets to you in your daily routine. My hair is like, always in my face! I'd love to have some sort of seasons, we just have four seasons of random rainy mess. It never goes above 25 in the summer and I haven't seen proper snow since like, 1997! My city's very old, so there's a lot of architecture. I can't say that it's interesting after a hundred times of me passing it though!

:giggle: I just went and nosed on your page, so did Liverpool not get the snow earlier this year? Everywhere else seemed to :( And even Scotland gets above 30 degrees once every two years!

does the colors of the photo have anything to do with france, maybe? =D

everyone feels like running away sooner or later. but think about it very carefully before you make any moves. you say that you'll run away someday, now, but then... you might change your mind.

Don't look before you leap, take the time to set yourself up with a job first. Sell off things you won't need, but keep your sentimental stuff like photos, you don't want to erase your history.

I wish you the best of luck, ST.
Be safe and sensible. x

I've considered running away, too...not to Paris, but to an island somewhere in the South Pacific...where no one would find me. But, there are things to settle before you leave, too. I wish you luck if you ever decide to go.

To France? From France?

The flag is confusing me.

But only run away for the right reasons.

Be happy, ST. Please?

I went to Washington to live with my now boyfriend. There was alot of bad stigma with the house I was living at (with my mom) because my ex fiance lived there with me. I never ever wish I didn't come here. I love it here. I do miss things about California sometimes, but not enough to regret running away.

One day shortly before xmas last year my friend and I were talking about me visiting him in Washington and after a few texts about it we decided I'd buy a one way ticket and decide when I wanted to go back. We fell for each other in the month between the time I bought my ticket and the day I flew to Washington. Happily Ever After now. :D

Word of the wise, to live in France you will need to suck it up and take really crappy jobs just to get by.

I knew two good friends of mine that had to work washing dishes twelve hours a day on a ship's restaurant, AND could only afford to live in a tent in a campground.

If you must run away, I will strongly suggest that you wait till you're out of any educational spots you're in, because otherwise you are a minor, and people will send out warrants for you, and it WILL be harder to find gainful employment.

I don't know if I should tell you to go straight to France. Try research, learn the places you could get jobs, hell, even apply for them online through emails (privately) and once you have a good idea or secure job (And you're legal in that area you want to live in) then move.

If you don't want to deal with pressure to stay and want to cut all ties, then by all means go ahead and leave.

But please, wait till you're legal (if you aren't already) and make sure you research the crap out of what you plan on doing.

England and France are terribly hard places to work and live alone.

Go where you need to go.
Don't forget where you've been.
Don't forget that it's often okay to return, and that people will love you so much for returning, even in little ways.

I agree with you, ST.

I've given much thought to running away.

And to Paris... That would make it all the better. Except I only know conversational French and it would be pretty hard to get by...

But there are loves ones who would miss you and you would most likely come to regret it... whether it be a few days after or years later. :(
