I'm so jealous of your integrity. I'll say almost anything if I'm put on the spot to avoid hurting someone's feelings in the slightest most insignificant way, and then I have to live with it. I hate the way that feels. I wonder if this pathological behavior of mine is a sign of some serious issues, because I'd like to be able to truly interact with people instead of smiling and agreeing with whatever might relieve tension.

But yeah...being accused of lying when that's not something you would ever do...that would hurt...
