A little late commenting (okay, a lot late) but I agree ST. My brother and I both have bipolar disorder and, to put it mildly, it's ruined our lives. When I was first diagnosed, my friend (who had depression) suddenly decided SHE had bipolar disorder too, despite NEVER HAVING BEEN DIAGNOSED and seemed to think it was some kind of merit badge. A few months ago I saw her, having seemingly 'recovered' and, realizing I was still very ill, told me to just "Look on the bright side". How I refrained from punching her is a freaking miracle.
