I hear you -_- I once did a joke to my mom that she looked pregnant and it was CLEARLY a joke and we were both laughing, it wasn't because of her fat (When she IS fatter than me) It was her shirt of something, the next day I was talking to her and she's like, wow you've gone fat, you should go workout 
I'm like I KNOW im fat (but i'm not THAT much, 5'2, 110) And she's like yeah especially your legs (Where im SO selfconcious about them (Fucking stretch marks)) I just wanted to be like LOOK AT YOU , your fatter, but I didn't want to hurt her feelings, even thaugh she hurted mine
