My grandparents first dated when they were in jr. high and married several years after they graduated high school and they lived together happily until my grandpa passed away 2 yrs ago. Things worked out for them, so I suppose it can happen.
My advice though is don't do anything drastic until you've been together a while (a few years), if you can wait that long and you are still serious, there'll be a good chance it can work out. So young people in love, don't rush it or you'll blow it.
