A couple years ago, I could have written this. It is hard to realize that your parents' view of you isn't always right, especially when they blind themselves on purpose. I don't believe that our parents' opinions of us ever truly stop carrying any weight, but with time, that weight can be lessened and stop threatening to crush us.

if you dont like her either you should ask your parents for help. or at least some good friend to change the things you hate or begin some new things. life isnt that short... you can always change into a person you like.

your parents are human, and maybe they dont realise the extent of your pain. in situations like this, you cant always rely on your parents for rationality.

my parents would to the same, so they didnt have to contemplate the fact that it might be their fault.
not that i blame them, because it's not their fault.

It's easy to get a child. Unfortnunately, most parents are much too stupid to know what to really do with a child after it learnt its first words.
