I guess to me, the interpretation doesn't matter as much. Whether it's scars, or being handicapped, or the person talking funny, or as far out as hearing a relative of theirs murdered someone it's the same look. It gets the same reaction. It's one of those looks that just burns you to the soul. I'm glad the secret was shared though. It's not easy trying to get people to look past those things. They define you, in others eyes, before you have a chance to.
