I felt the same, so I won't publish any of mine until I've moved out.

Egads, can I relate to that. My mother would think I was raving mad. Well... more mad than usual, anyway.

He he, I'm just publishing here because I know nobody out of my reality knows about it. I can do whatever I want and nobody will ever know. ;) Alright, that's not helping, sorry.

Ack, I know what you mean. My mother would send me to a psychologist. xD

Okay not helping, but honestly, just write for the love of writing. I bet you have beautiful things to say. :)

thats the beauty of being able to publish under a different name.

Emily Rodda's real name isn't Emily Rodda, and a lot of other authors do it too.

and on dA you can be completely anonymous too.

If your heart's really set on getting some of your work published, do it under a fake name. You'd be surprised how many best-selling authors do that.

Good luck ^^

Hehehe, I can seriously relate. I write them, but I keep them in an unfindable folder on my computer, so that they can never read them.

write whatever you want, post them if you like. Just don't let your parents read them! And if by chance you do get published, and they want to read them, then let them. If they disagree, just say "look, this was good enough to get published. I'm making x amount of money off of this! What you think really doesn't matter."
Yeah..good luck!
