Well said! Emotions are HUMAN nature, the bad ones aren't exclusive to those who are abused, sick, an ethnic minority or whatever reason.

I wouldn't say Asians were necessarily a minority. Especially in Asia.

I think very often people do not react because they are insecure if what they think they detect is true and are worried they might harm the depressed looking even more or cause a reaction they may not be able to handle.

But there are also indifferent ones. They won't help anyway, so forget them. As for "Asian" it is as much a minority as all minorities which means you are not automatically less depressed or have less problems. This may be a misperception of Asians themselves. They are said to be very determined and hard-working a maybe just "refuse" to be poor or miserable. So if someone is, it just can't be, I don't know. Just a wild guess. If this is so: don't let yourself be trapped by this.

Anyway - to be wealthy or rich does not mean you are happy. Look at the very rich - especially their children! Many of them do not seem to be so happy!

If this is not just a phase and has been going on for a loger period, then probably it's time for you to act up and ask someone ABLE to help you?!

My mother thinks I'm depressed, but I have no reason to, my family has money, I'm healthy, I have friends (I think), I have all the physical belongings I want, I'm also extremely physically strong, and people always say I look sad, I'm not sad, I'm just always thinking...

Nobody should be turned away like that.Just because there are people around the world who are suffering worse than one could possible imagine, doesn't make a better off person's pains and problems any less real.

just because a lot of things in a person's life are comparatively better than in others
doesn't mean that their pain doesn't still hurt them
I've kinda been there too so......
I get it

Asian isn't a minority world-wide. In the U.S., 9.6 percent of the population is at least partially Asian, so it is a minority in the U.S.A.
