you shouldn't care about what other people think if drawings bring you joy stick to it no matter what people say about it

Experiment and try things but maybe if it is hard take a break and then come back to art.

I know it's hard, but maybe you should not care so much about whether other people care or not? I mean, not to sound horribly cruel, or anything, but no one is obligated to pay any attention to anyone else just to feed the other's ego... if you feel that the only reason you're into art is to get attention from others, maybe you should not be, or try to find another reason to do it... or work really hard, so that people have more of a reason to pay attention... you gotta earn it, I guess, not just expect it to come with the territory... sorry if I came off a bit harsh, but I just find it incredibly sad... art's kind of just one of those things you gotta do a lot of thankless, unnoticed work on for a while before you reach a point where things start happening, and as the artist, it can be frustrating, because it's hard to tell if you're even moving forward at all, because most of the time, you're your own worst critic, having spent as much time as you have with your work... it can be hard to see the good in it. Truthfully, I don't think any good artist ever thinks to theirself, "well, this is it, I can't possibly improve". You gotta have passion for the art, the making of the art, the expression, the creative process, et cetera... if not, then...
Again, I don't mean to sound insensitive or anything (just look at the little icon with the foam hand!), but really, there are better reasons for making art, and better methods of making people take notice of you. Like most things, it's only pointless if you don't find a point in it... Good luck, and I hope you find what you're looking for... (and remember, this is only an opinion of some stranger on the internet. I know nothing about you other than what is expressed in the secret, and am probably making assumptions. But you can take this to heart if you want. Your choice).

You might not see it but you really improve with everything you create. It just takes time, these are small steps. But you climb the ladder! Believe in yourself, please :)

Create your own style! Even if you do something in a cartoony way, but it's supposed to be a magesric one, don't forget about the colors! They add to the mood, making it seem dark or light!

You took a brave step to share this with us. But talk to someone you trust about this as well, if you can and have someone to talk to.

The beauty of that it is an expression of yourself

And since you wrote this and you admit that you need help, something tells me there's still something in you that wants to hold on still.

I'm a writer (and I draw a little on the side as well)
But I haven't drawn anything in a long time, and I haven't had any inspiration to write anything whatsoever. But you know, that's okay, because when there is something in me that I need to let out, I know I can let it out through my art. Maybe we both just need to find our quiet places where we can just stay and be at peace with ourselves for a while. My place is on the shore of a little blue mountain lake, I'll lay down in the heather and just stay there forever, the stars and moon will come out in reflections on the lake and maybe if I'm lucky I'll see aurora borealis.. that's where I'll find myself, and that's where I'll know, that the only thing to express in my art more beautiful and intricate than the world, is me.

So where's your place? Find it.

Don't give up, I know how you feel and it can be really disheartening to think no one is interested in something that's so important to you, but you have to do what makes you happy, and if that's drawing them keep at it! You'll gain more skill and experience as you go so keep your chin up! :-)
