I can totally relate to this....
I'm not good enough for them , they always compare me to someone who is successful and all, and doesn't even appreciate all my hardwork! They made me feel like a BIG Failure!

I was always told doing my best would always be good enough for my mom. Until I got my first C this year. I think a C in AP Calculus is pretty damn impressive, especially because I worked my ass off for it and my mother knows it, but of course it wasn't good enough. Her daughter should be able to get perfect grades, always.

I completely agree, actually.

I spend a lot of my time worried about my Mum, especially with my AS exams coming up. When I got a D in one of my mocks, I wasn't worried for myself. I was worried about how my Mum would react when I got home. And when I was home, I cried over being a failure. Not in terms of getting a D, but in terms of disappointing my You-Should-Get-A Mother.

I completely understand this secret teller.

(By the way - a D is not bad people!!! I'm not trying to be insulting, just explaining my Mum's reaction)
