life lessons.laugh a little,
love a lot.
you'll get your heart broken
so maybe not,
but who am i
to call the shots?
sadness will consume you
if you allow it to.
happiness is a few steps away,
but it's up to you to find its path
& don't forget,
nothing will last.
take what you get
& work for what you want.
know that something will set
but waiting will get you nowhere.
be kind to those you love
so they'll know that you're there.
play the hand you're dealt
& gamble what you want.
learn to deal
because all of it is real.
learn your lessons
before you play them out.
know them thoroughly
before you get out.
Things I Do When I Feel Down :cThere are times in our lives,
When we hit the all time low.
When the second-hand serenades no longer cut it,
And when simply 'letting it burn' no longer works for us.
We roll upon our beds like a roly-poly collection of rolltastic things;
And we lay face up toward the ceiling, slaying monsters on our portable consoles.
But that my friends is when inspiration strikes!
That is the moment when I rise up from the covers,
When I take a marker pen in my hand and use it as a microphone.
When my neighbours wonder what the bloody hell is going on,
Because I've started singing songs by Nightwish.
And when I get bored of that, IRON SAVIOUR,
Heavy Metal never dies!
Marylin Manson, The Beautiful People.
Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Your Guardian Angel.
Because truly when I see you smile,
Though tears may not run down my face,
I would never in this world replace:
The feeling of a success, and the smile it might brings
When I entertain you, with the way I sing.
And if you've gotten
Loving A Guy Who Cannot Love Himself.Firstly, tell him that he doesn't necessarily need to be the “strongest” man in the world,
that if he cries, you won't look down on him for it,
that you won't call him weak.
Tell him that he doesn't have to like sports, or fishing, or football, or any of the “mainstream” things that boys are “supposed” to like.
Let him know that liking art, or dancing, or singing or acting doesn't make him gay, doesn’t make him any less of a man, it just makes him who he is.
A human being.
And for goodness sakes, tell him that blue does not have to be his favorite color, than he can indulge in pink, or purple or even magenta!
And to the girl who take on the task, remember please, that it is not always the Knight who saves the Princess.
No, this time, the Princess may need to save the Knight.
Do not pour your problems onto him, rather, balance each other out.
Be a shoulder to cry on. A friend to be there. A love that never leaves.
Perhaps more than often,
Your loneliness has spread to your eyes,
It has now become a part of who you are.
You can no longer keep contract of your own lies.
Everyone else but you can see that this has gone too far.
Your expressions and body language have become bionic.
It’s almost like the lights are on but the room has been ransacked.
What is ironic is that you try so hard to subtly avoid the topic.
I choose and use my words carefully because I know how you will react.
There is only so much I can say or do; the rest is solely up to you.
Only you can dispose of the trespasser that lies underneath.
If you only knew the trials you have unintentionally put me through.
Maybe then you will shed your grief and embark onto a new leaf.
I hope you take my sincere concerns on board.
Because time is one thing none of us can afford
To squander and wonder our lives away.
Be true to yourself.
Bipolar DisorderShut up.
Don’t. Say. A n y t h i n g .
“Are you okay?”

Close the window.
Open it again.
“What’s wrong with you?”
I’m losing control.
I am Bipolar Disorder.
… “I don’t know.”
CanvasLet her paint a masterpiece,
Let her paint a lie
Let her paint a word inside the shining silver skies.
Let her paint a mystery,
Let her paint a sin
Let her paint the things that lie in darkness deep within.
Let her paint a masterpiece
(but this time there's a twist)
Make the brush a blade and let the canvas be her wrist...
Sleeping With a Broken HeartAt night I feel your energy
Like you're lying in bed right next to me
Then I open my eyes and the truth is clear
That I'm all alone and you're not here
In my sleep sometimes I say your name
Reaching out for your hand, pulling back in shame
It's like longing for something that was never mine
Now I'm mourning what ended before it was time
Your scent still lingers in the air
Especially the lavender from your hair
When I notice, at first, it makes me smile
My smile then fades, after a very short while
Some people tell me I'm just in denial
But I know I'm not; I'm suffering a trial
Sometimes I write out letters to you
Telling you all I am going through
Though in the end, I just throw them away
Knowing if I sent them, you wouldn't stay
I guess it's safe to say that my heart is broken
From the words I wish you had never spoken
