You're gone, you're dead, there's no going backEhem, please read;
You're sitting at your desk, in your room, and you know it's time to go. You've said that to yourself over a million times, but this time you know, for sure, that it's time. You're tired… you're so tired of everything you have been putting up with in your life. You're parents pissed you off, like school wasn't bad enough today.. You go to get the rope because you're that desperate to leave. You're ready. You think of it as some game… the first one dead is the one who wins. No ones home, it's the perfect time. You're ready. If you don't do it now, you're gonna look down on yourself even more, forever. You're going to hate yourself even more. No one knows, no one will know… until later on. Instead of getting a paper and a pen, you get the video camera, along with a chair and a rope. You're standing on the chair now...You're gone instantly and there will be no noise, or anything. One side of the rope is tied to the top of your fan, while the other is already around your
She remembered...She had always loved him. They had been best friends since the first grade. She remembered how he would tug her hair and draw on her notebook when she wasn't looking. She remembered how mad she would get and when she started to yell at him, he would just smile at her. She remembered how he would draw her pictures to try to brighten her day. She remembered in middle school how he would poke her hips and she would scream. She remembered how she would blow up at him and when she went to apologize, he would just put his finger to her mouth and tell her to shush. She remembered how he would tease her and get up in her face. She remembered the day he told her he had a girlfriend and her spirits were crushed. She remembered how she stood by his side and when they broke up, she stayed to comfort him. She remembered how he would come up and hug her. She remembered how she always knew when he was there because of the smell of his cologne. She remembered thier inside joke
You guide us through trials;
keep us strong and protect us.
You catch us when we fall,
and wait when we run away.
You never break your promises;
You heal our scars and You love forever.
You never give up;
hold us tight and give us hope.
You answer prayers,
and never leave us alone.
You comfort us;
You wipe away tears and You never forsake us.
You are our best friend and our Daddy
You are our Everything when we have nothing
Love, its such a silly thingWhen you love someone,
It changes something inside you
It's like you become a new person
And everything looks different to you.
Your mind starts to drift from work to him
You start to not be able to concentrate when he's in the room
Your heart skips a beat when he looks at you
Oh love is such a silly thing
You try to play it cool
You try to go along
But there is always something inside you
Telling you that you want more.
You start to get butterflies
You get this weird look in your eyes
He becomes part of your world
Oh love, it's such a silly thing
You giggle at all his jokes
You try to act as if you don't care
But in the end,
He's all you ever think about
When he notices you,
It make you feel special
Like you're the only girl he sees
Oh love, it's such a funny, funny thing
You dream about him every night
You wish he could hold you tight
When bad times happen,
You wish he would tell you everything is alright
You know that you will always love him
No matter what he does or says
Abandoned ChapelThe parish waits now,
the loneliness of corners
crawling outward on walls--
chipped away by the wind,
and held together
by silk spindles;
cobwebs align them like the membranes of memories,
the cut of a jewel in an broken window
against the sun
where beads of rain
gather in a mesh of strands
a new Mosaic
against the backdrop of a cemetery;
My eyes seek out the sermon
in close proximity,
paint no distance
between headstone and cloud;
elegies topple each other
in their climb to heaven
as light trickles
over the shade,
breathes a new glow over snuffed candles.
I feel the weight in these empty rows,
how a breath couldn't cease to be breath
in the midst of prayer.
