I can relate completely. Though its unlikely you would like to message me, a random person in your view, about your troubles - I'm here to listen, and so are many others.

You have someone around you, no doubt, you would listen as well. Just need to dig their identity up from the bottom of the deep hole. =3

I get it, you want someone to listen without feeling sorry for you. Understandable. Maybe you should change your approach a bit?
Seek advice, not comfort. Word your problem as a hypothetical to get around the whole "feeling sorry" bit.
