I have a few more years until I turn 20, I'm trying to enjoy my teenage years even though its difficult!

Exactly. I'm 18. Being 20 scares me. I' so lost, and I don't know what I don't know and I don't know if that's a problem.

I don't understand how my brain works. But I use my brain to understand the world around me. Is this a problem? I don't know!

Being 28, and feeling less accomplished than I would have hoped for, I leave you with these points to ponder. Life is precious, so don't waste time. Life is too short to not be honest. Don't get wrapped up in material things, because they can be lost in a moment to fire, flood, ect. Plus you can't take any of it with you.
Often times, in my life, I find myself regretting the things NOT said and NOT done more than the things I say or the things I do. Don't live with regret.
Be honest with yourself first and foremost.

Hang in there. Just remember not to take life too seriously! After all, none of us will make it out alive :)

I'm scared of that, too! It's a lot of pressure that the most important decisions have to be made while you're still young and inexperienced :S

I know the feeling all too well.
I'll be 20 next year. I'm really worried I won't accomplish what I want in the next 10 years.

Same here. But I'm sure, secret teller, if you're as cautious as you seem, then you'll be just fine C:

I'm not even there yet and I'm...not who I want to be.
TheWanderingSlacker Featured By Owner Oct 7, 2012
You likely never will be exactly who you want to be. The more you learn and grow and the better you get, the higher you'll set your sites. If you want it bad enough, I'm confident you'll become who you want to be NOW, but by then the person you want to be will be even better.

That's not a bad thing, though. When I get frustrated because "I should be better than that," I look back at who I used to be and realize that I'm better than the guy I used to want to be and it makes me happy. Besides, if you actually achieved your goal and were exactly who you wanted to be, then what would you have left to work on? It'd get kinda' boring, wouldn't it?

Good choices, you need to make good choices. Everything then will turn out well.
ThousandCookie Featured By Owner Oct 7, 2012   Digital Artist
Focus and perspective: that's all you need. A little bit of motivation helps, too.
