You may be in love, but patience is key, dear.
I fell in love with my fiance when we were both 13. We knew we wanted to get married, but it's frowned upon for the very reason that you Could change your mind. My fiance and I are definitely not the same people we were when we were 13, but we grew with each other and continued to be in love. You, however, may change your mind. Even if you get married with parental consent, what if you don't like the person he grows to be? Just a thought.
I've grown up in a very strict, Christian, Texan home...so I know all too well about those "Christian Southern societies" and I know it's hard, but you can't let them get you down about yourself. Even if you're sure, waiting makes everything better. Just enjoy your childhood with someone by your side. When you're old enough to realize you can afford getting married and all of the tasks that come with it, you'll be thankful that you waited.
