This is someones reality. Get on with it. You don't need to accept or think alike cause everyone has their own minds, opinions and points of views. Can't any of you see the person behind this secret? Can't any of you see that she have been trough something before writing this.

I spent years trying to get the guy i fancied to notice me. He finally did but it was in the wrong way. For years he bullied me and made my life hell but there was something about him. All the 'popular' girls fancied him and he'd been out with a lot of them.
In my final year of school he asked me out. I said yes and everyone told me it would be a cruel trick and he was using me for sex or whatever. 7 months later he took me to prom. 5 years on and we are still together and he's everything i could ever want. he's not the high school bully and that type of guy anymore, he's caring and loving and generous and i really love him.
It worked out for me

I agree completely. Love is gritty and hard and sometimes it's not fun. There is boredom and anger and regret and blame, but in the end, it is all worth it when you look into the eyes of that man/woman that has driven you to the edge of insanity and beyond and realize, there is no way you would ever willingly give up any once of hurt if it means giving up that break in your heart when they are not around. Girls who have never been in love, I have to tell you this, love hurts! There is nothing in this world more painful than love, but if you are willing to work and push and fight than you can hold on to it. I don't know where this idea came from in girls of any generation that love means you are always blissfully in unaware of each others faults, that there is never an angry word spoken and that sex makes up nothing, because if you go into a relationship with that attitude, yeah, it might last, but you won't be happy.
