I wanted to be a princess, just an undead one. Even begged my parents for a coffin bed after watching NCIS. Still waiting for my coffin bed...

I wanted to be the first female baseball player. Than I grew up. Now I want to be either a writer or lawyer.

Why does everybody keep saying "All the other girls wanted to be princesses", as far as I know, nobody wanted to be a fucking princess. That's why so many people relate to the whole "I'M NOT LIKE OTHER GURLSSS"-bullshit.

A lot of girls wanted to be... Not me, I would of rather of been a singer or artist but at times. Some did.

I know a lot of girls who wanted to be singers, doctors, artists, vets, and lots of other reasonable jobs. Some wanted to be dragons, some wanted to be mermaids or vampires but I VERY rarely met anyone who wanted to be princesses, at least not more than those who wanted to be something different. :shrug: So in my opinion, the whole "I'M NOT LIKE OTHER GIRLS" is a load of bullshit because everyone had different personalities and wishes. I mean, you can tell by all the commenters on this picture saying "I didn't want to be a princess either".

Yeah but what they mean is most girls, they wanted to be something like a princess. You know, pretty, prince and a beautiful wedding when they grew up. Some wanted to be that Princess way. Some at a very young age wanted to but they never remember that. I never did as I remember me singing and wanted to be a witch instead. But I bet when I was a little little girl I wanted to at some point but found it boring or stupid. As I hated dresses.

Everybody wants to be beautiful, rich and find true love when they're little, but very few have becoming a princess as their goal through their whole childhood. Many girls today have sort of "boy"-ish or nonfeminine hobbies and goals, the only problem with that is that they've grown up with the whole "girls like girly stuff"-mindset that they think that liking something "boy"-ish is unnatural and special. In fact, it's not special at all and it's way more normal than they think.

It all has to do with Special Snowflake Syndrome. These girls act like they're one in a million when in fact lots of girls are the same way.

That's what I don't like about girls' mindset, it's something I've very rarely seen in boys. I think I've seen more girls say "I'm not like other girls" than I've seen girls say "I'm like everyone else", while they are in fact like everyone else. I don't know ONE girl who wanted to be a princess, lol.

As a girl, I can assure you that most of us aren't like that, but there ARE quite a few that are. One of the most annoying types of girls is the Gamer Gurl, who acts like she's God's gift to the male sex because she plays video games despite the fact that millions of other girls play video games and don't make a big deal out of it.

Oh god, I can't stand those. It's not in any way more difficult or socially unacceptable to have a vagina and play videogames. :roll:

It's really funny too, because most of them play "mainstream" games that aren't unique at all. And they're so easy to spot;

Female gamers: I like to play video games.

Gamer Gurls: OTAY, SO U PROLLY ARE SURPRISED TO SEE A *GURL* PLAYING A VIDEO GAME XD I LUV HALO AND MARIO AND I LUV XBOX MORE THAN MAKEUP SO WORSHIP ME!!!

It's pretty degrading to other girls as well.

Tell me about it. :| And they always play Kingdom hearts and Zelda too. But the absolute worst are those who play CoD and go around saying "I'M A PRO AT COD AND I'M A -GIRL- WHO CAN BEAT ANY GUY ANY DAY!" I don't really know what's the deal about those type of girls who think they're so hardcore because they like "manly" things. Genderroles barely exist in our society.

Seriously! It's not exactly taboo for a female to play video games. Like I said, millions do. They just don't make a big deal out of it.

And I think it's really funny when someone (usually a feminist, not to ridicule them) goes like "Girls SHOULD be aloud to be proud because they play video games!" or "What's wrong with a female gamer??!" when people call gamer gurls out on their crap. And it's just like, no, that's FINE, but don't be an asshole about it.

What I don't really like about statements like these is that by trying to express how unique you are, you're clumping everyone else together, when everyone deep down is different too.
Cute nonetheless.
