As long as you know, that unless you are ready to kill whoever you point that gun at good, but if you cant, if you hesitate it can end in either the end of your life or the death of your soul be ready for that.

I would recommend self-defense classes.. I can relate to this and recently started taking self-defense classes and I just feel so much safer than I used to.

We all have ways of dealing with the events of our lives. If this is the way you manage, then so be it. But if it feels like it's a problem for you, then perhaps you could seek help. There is no shame in asking for help when you need it. That being said, I know how hard it can be admitting to someone other than yourself that things aren't going as well as you'd like.

However, if you are ok with the way you have chosen to protect yourself, then that's alright too.

As for the scared child you may have within you - at least now you have a way of keeping them safe.
