The Secret teller would also like to say:
Her behavior towards sexuality is also making it hard for me to know whether I'm asexual.

if i ever get the title "hypersexual" i'd want to get it engraved on a gold plaque so i can hang it on my wall.

I had to look up the word. I'm not asexual, but i can relate. I feel disgusted by anyone having sex except for me. I know how horrible and hypocritical that is and I try to not feel that way but i do... I also have a hypersexual friend and feel the same way..

I sort of know what you mean, although not to the same extent. I'm asexual and a little repulsed but not phobic. My best friend who I'm very fiercely queerplatonically attached to has a lot of relationships and has become pretty sexual in her conduct when I never did, and I've found this very hard to deal with. It led to some bad times and some fights in which we both acted very stupidly. You need to accept a compromise. Talk to her about how you find it uncomfortable and remind her to be accommodating towards your phobia - but also be respectful of her and don't get irrationally angry or jealous at her for being open about her sexuality. You both have an equal right to express it.

There isn't anything wrong with your friend being hypersexual, but there's also nothing wrong with you. You say erotophobic, so it's a phobia and phobias are irrational fears that you can't control.

Maybe talk to her, if she's flaunting it or being very open about it around you, and ask her not to, but at the same time you should try to work to lessen or get over your fear. It's easier said than done, I know, but phobias inhibit your life and it's in your best interest to work towards getting rid of them.

Oh I think that would disgust anyone. It's okay to be sexual, but not obsessively. It's not your fault. <3
