My Boyfriend has the same on A1C as you.
And he won't even get better. He hates his type 1 diabetes and doesn't accept it as it is.

So I hope you'll get better!!!

hey ST, i also have type 1 diabetes. i know it never goes away... not for us, but it gets better. i struggle too, but i've also had DKA before and been in the hospital for a week. stay strong, because hospitals suck

I hope you understand that type 1 diabetes is completely different from type 2

I understand the burden of it. I have type 2 diabetes because of my medicines, for half a year now. I want to get rid of it

Tonight I will pray for good health for you. :hug: One of my bestfriends have type 1 diabetes. I don't know how long he has had it but, it's difficult for him somedays he will miss school because of it. Stay strong, and the best of lucky to you.

Hold in there ST!! I have several friends who are diabetic and I can see how hard it is. I don't know exactly how it would be to live with diabetes, but I hang out with my friends enough that I can understand how difficult it is. Just hang in there ST, keep up with your medications and eat right and constantly check your blood sugar and pressure. It's going to be really hard, but it'll help make things better for you. Keep that strong attitude of yours! You WILL get better!!! :)
