I never want it to turn into that. Now I'm practically doing it just to make myself feel better. It's like on borderline to becoming a habit. Sucks... (because I'm still in that depressed state :/)

I honestly kind of miss it, but I've been without it for two years now, and I feel pretty nice.

Pain is a substitute for other things. I know people who used to cut. I helped the find their reasons for the love of the pain. I used it myself when I was younger to deal with some problems that I saw as insurmountable. I don't scar much, for some reason, so no one will ever know how many razors creased my skin, but that addiction is to the pain, the blood and to whatever else you're not living with. You don't need it, but as long as you want it, you can cut. Just don't start going along the veins, and you'll never have a problem.
