Swing dancing?! I've never done that and it sounds AWESOME. I'd dance with you. I'd dance with anyone.

This secret hit me kind of hard. I quit going out dancing several years ago because I also realized how terrible I felt there. That's more due to social anxiety than anything else, I think.

Having a rough time at a dance doesn't at all mean that you're "repulsive". Maybe you didn't mesh with the people well, or they already have preferred dancing partners and don't like branching out. So, try some new dance places! Salsa and blues dancing are a ton of fun. And bring a friend or three, so you'll be less likely to feel like the odd one out.

I agree with MeganHitachiin. Maybe you just need a change of scenery. I mean, just because you don't go to swing dances doesn't mean you have to cut it out of your life. Good luck.

I highly doubt you are repulsive to be around. I mean perhaps you just need to surround yourself with different people.
