talk to him. experiment.
but don't give up your own happiness for someone elses. at the same time, if you think it may be just a passing phase (i have had a lot of them in my relationship), don't ruin it. i'm not saying don't talk to the guy or see about experimenting. i'm just saying don't burn the bridge and flat out tell the guy you're leaving him to be with a woman only to end up regretting it later on. good luck

Look, life isn't about trying to make other people happy. And if you aren't happy, that will seep through to the relationship and he will get that somethings up. You need to decide what you want. A relationship? A fuck? or just not to be with your husband/ Decide, then do it.

to a certain extent, i agree with you; you can have deep feelings for anyone, but attraction is a huge part of a romantic relationship. personally, i feel like it's an issue that can't just be chalked up to a fault on the ST's part- she's only human and personally, having been in a similar relationship, harboring that kind of secret will eventually make both people very unhappy.

I am going through this right now. Circumstances have forced myself and my boyfriend of almost 4 years apart. I am moving in with my girlfriend. They know about one another, and he and I had a long talk about what might come when I am gone. We understand that I might discover something about myself and about her in general that will make me unable to be with him, but he is giving me the chance to be happy and discover who I really may be. He will forever be a huge influence in my life, and a good friend for sure. But... I've always wanted to be with a woman. I've always looked at them differently. Their passion, their understanding.... a woman's body has always appealed to me more than a man's. I don't know... I am afraid of losing him but at the same time I understand it's just the attachment I've already formed.
