I know you can say that even if they don't love you, you will love them in return... but it really might be better if you find someone who can reciprocate the love in return.

I mean, it's not wrong to love this person, not wrong at all... but... how does this person feel about it?

Also, wanting to be friends forever is a wonderful thing! It really is, but sometimes if you hold on too hard it doesn't go as planned.

Been there, darling. I won't tell you to stop loving them (because fat chance, we WISH it was that easy), but to make sure you take care of yourself and your friendship. Even when we love someone with all of our hearts, we have to know when to draw lines; and I hope your friend never takes advantage of your feelings. All the best.

Loving someone without loving someone back is really hard. Trust me, In some cases it's best to move along. Find another love. You'll find one. And if you don't: You have your whole life for yourself. You can do things others can't. It comes with slightly more thought about things, but you can do more. Life alone isn't all that bad. It just takes getting used too.
