My best friend (almost a sister, really) refuses to take the perfectly good, clean, and safe bus to go anywhere, even in the middle of the day, because it takes a bit longer to get anywhere and to her there's creepy people on the bus who starte. she would rather wait until the next day, when a ride will be available, to go somewhere. she even openly admits to manipulating others or "batting her eyelids" to get a ride, because she honestly feels this is more independent somehow. and this is a girl who has a year round bus pass given out from her college. And if i say anything, she gets mad.
I love her, I really do, but I just want to scream at and strangle her sometimes.
