I'm Christian, and have no problem with gays or lesbians. I don't know whether I believe homosexuality is a sin or not, but I always think of it like this. The Bible says that all sins are equal to the others, meaning that even is you are a homosexual, you're no worse than anyone else. It also says that once you have accepted Jesus into your life, all sins, past, present, and future, are forgiven. Also, what ~RestlessEcho said is right: God loves you no matter what. Don't forget that.
