You should firmly tell your parents to back off. It's not their business who ou date and you can decide for yourself.

The thing is, it IS their business; a parent is to look out for and protect their children. Though they SHOULD have listened and made an effort to understand, and it doesn't sound like they did.

stay strong. if it is meant to work, it will. your parents have no right to control you like this and honestly, in the long run, they can't stop you from living your life...but I know how this feels. good luck!

Parents can be really ignorant sometimes but I don't think they should get in the way of something like this if you feel this strongly about it.

This all depends on how old you are, really. If you're seventeen/eighteen they can't do too much, if you're younger, perhaps consider why it is they did what they did.

If it is truly unreasonable, love will find a way. :)
