You never really leave your childhood behind, anyway. It's always there.
I remember a quote by C.S. Lewis.

"When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up."

Being an adult will be so boring for me, if people are going to want/make me be mature. Go back and grab your childhood. Who knows, it may just be one of the best decisions you'll make~
Oh, and you'll have much, MUCH more fun being an adult with an inner child. Think of all the things you've wanted to do as a child, but couldn't because you were too young. :3

It's worse when you are being forced to abandon your childhood. I try so hard to keep a little part of me a child, a little part of me happy. Everyone around me wants me to grow up completely. I think if I am grown up enough to be an adult, yet still have a foot in childhood, that it's fine. Other people don't understand. Why can't they just let us be happy even if it means we are a little less immature and a little less adult. I say you should turn around and get that little piece of childhood you left, take it by the hand, and never ever let go.

Growing up and being adult sounds so boring. I still have my inner-child, and I think I always will.

WHY ON EARTH would you want to leave the last of your childhood behind? Save some of it, and remember that everyone is allowed to have a big inner child inside them!

My childhood ends July 15th.

It ends with Harry Potter. It was the first book I read, when I was 8. I have been an avid reader since, but every once in a while, I go back to where it all started.

Ive read Sorcerer's Stone 37 times.

There's a good side to this too, and if you focus on this more, you'll be less afraid. Yes, you will get more responsibility, but there are so many great things adults can do that children can't. One of my favorite things to do is just jump on a train on Friday evening to spend the weekend somewhere else!

I did too, but everyone is scared when they leave their childhood. It's natural to be scared when you move from one part of life to a new part, but as life moves on you'll gain confidence and soon you won't be scared anymore.

All the time! :)

I chased a ball moss seed today and then set it free and made a wish.

I'm going to grow old, but I'll never grow up. :)

I'll be sixteen this summer, I listen to Disney songs and I still have stuffed animals in my room.

I might look as if I'm seventeen or eighteen, believe me, I'll never be old. It's too much fun to be young!

Growing up is scary, at least I know that the thought of all the responsabilities that growing up brings always scares the hell out of me.
