“Each secret can be a regret, hope, funny experience, unseen kindness, fantasy, belief, fear, betrayal, erotic desire, feeling, confession, or childhood humiliation. Reveal anything - as long as it is true and you have never shared it with anyone before”

Make an image out of any material using your creativity. The end result must be in a .jpg format image file that you email to Put your complete secret on the image by using words or by other creative means.

You can make an image on the computer, or a drawing that you scan in, or a digital photo you take. It can even be a 3D sculpture you make but then you will have to take a photo of it.

Use only one image for one secret. If you want to share more than one secret, submit multiple images. Every Secret will be posted as long as it fallows the rules already set forth by DeviantArt and that it is a .jpg file.

Nicknames and first names are ok but not really wanted because it is possible that the secret can be connected to the person who sent the secret or to a person that the secret may be about.

Be brief and to the point - the fewer words used the better.
Be legible - use big, clear and bold lettering so you can read it.
Be creative - This is a community Art website so it should be very creative.

Oh Dear! This really shows those who are not affected of eating disorders how hard and restraint your life is and how you perceive yourself. What a painful life. I hope you will get better.

Greetings to you!

Please, let somebody help you. And if there's no one to talk to, help yourself. There's such a beautiful life out there.

Just a note to anyone who disagrees that they have anorexia because they don't look like it. It's a mental disorder, the physical is just the effects of it. Love on who ever has it because deep down inside, they feel like they are never worth enough for the world or themselves. Also, always remember, if you are trying to help someone with anorexia? You can't change them, so don't stress over it or you'll make yourself sick which won't help at all. You can only encourage them and watch to see if they can overcome it.

Please, eat something. It's a biological need, and you'll seriously injure yourself if you fight it. Hope you get better! :(
XsilverghostX Featured By Owner Apr 19, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
What's funny is that NOT eating can make you fat too. It makes you wonder why they would do this anyways.

Your body panics and goes on "survival mode" so it actually packs on pounds to survive anytime you DO eat. The real way to get rid of it (in a healthy way) is to boost your metabolism.
The-Mysterious-J Featured By Owner Jun 3, 2013  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
oh. makes sense.
but i don't think a lot of anorexic people don't eat only because they want to be thinner.. there has to be something else severly wrong
XsilverghostX Featured By Owner Jun 5, 2013  Hobbyist Digital Artist
People force them to think skinnier is more beautiful, so they try to lose weight to become that "ideal beauty."

No, I don't know at all how you must feel and that goes for most other people too, but that doesn't mean in any way that no one cares. I know that your not going really listen to what I am about to say because I am sure you must hear this from the people that know and these comments but, the sooner you get some kind of help the better you will feel.

Remember, it has to get worse before it can get better ~ MissMermaidGirl :)

I've never had Anorexia, but i have thought about it any times, and i used to starve myself, until people noticed and said something to me. Im glad i never went through with it, ok im not thin, im still over weight, but im working on it, in a heathly and unrisky way. I'm here if you need someone to talk to
GleekMaxRide Featured By Owner Sep 2, 2012  Hobbyist Filmographer
This.. it's ok. You can beat this.
TalentedThruHIM Featured By Owner Jul 24, 2012  Student General Artist
Anorexia can do terrible things to you. Okay, I'm 140 pounds and I feel beautiful! No, I'm not a twig, but I'm not overweight. If you're in the TWO DIGIT RANGE that is not healthy. You should be in the one-hundreds by the time your 13. Eating is good for you I promise. It's actually been proven that anorexia BUILDS UP fat. Because your body goes into a malnourished stage and your body starts building fats cells. Think of the pictures of starving African children. They're little bellies swell and protrude. Your were not meant to eat that little. When you eat more and exercise it off, you'll actually look healthier and thinner.
The-Mysterious-J Featured By Owner Jun 3, 2013  Hobbyist Traditional Artist
hey, I'm 18 and weight ninetysomething pounds. and I'm not anorexic, not even very thin.

i'm not anorexic, but i feel like i can relate, having struggled with myself over the issue many times and having known others who were. i hope some day you will be able to see yourself as the beautiful person you are without the image being distorted by an eating disorder.

Just to point out to the "Record two-digit weight" that that doesn't mean they're annorexic.. I'm 5'5" and I'm only 95 lbs.. but the concept for these is cool. Sometimes indirectly getting secrets out helps. Realisticly puts someone in the shoes of a stranger.
allykat08 Featured By Owner Jun 7, 2009

Please tell someone in your life that you're going through this.

But I thought vomiting stuff out after eating would be bulimia?
rabinastre Featured By Owner Apr 18, 2009
If the stomach is unused to food, it will sometimes reject any substance put into it. Not sure if this is the case here, but I have a friend who used to accidentally miss meals during college, and then would puke when she did eat.
dicax-nightmare Featured By Owner Apr 7, 2009
Man, this hit close to home! :(
you can move on from this nasty disorder! you can you are strong a and a beautiful person I'm sure!
don't let it take away any more of your life.
it's not worth it.:(

I can't say anything except I hope things get better for you.
I had a friend with anorexia, and it broke me to see her like that. You're better off without it, if you can possibly find the strength to stop.
SirenJagonshi Featured By Owner Feb 18, 2009
This is so sad D: I'm sorry love! I bet you're beautiful.
The-Time-keeper Featured By Owner Feb 4, 2009
This is so sad. But it's something familiar.... keep your head up and the person who made this up should think about finding someone to talk to about this. maybe you'll feel better. idk...
Crawling-meower Featured By Owner Feb 4, 2009  Student Artisan Crafter
This is more horrible than most of the horror movie i've seen, an i'm a BIG horror fan. Professionals, and also the family members of those who suffer from it, don't do nearly enough about anorexia.
The ST has to get serious help, if she still hasn't, and is s still alive, or soon she won't be.
KnockMeOut Featured By Owner Feb 4, 2009  Hobbyist Digital Artist
this fuckin made me cry like a little child.

i hope you are alright, dear ST..
